1st Year Rookie Alcohol Rules
Purpose and Intent: The 1st Year Rookie Alcohol class is a training/educational process to teach and improve driving skills to young drivers. In addition, this class will teach racing safety and race event processes and procedures.

The following rules apply:

1. Ages 6 - 12 (Younger drivers subject to evaluation for safety and other qualifications)

2. Minimum weight - 235#, kart and driver race ready. Note: All weights must be white with the driver's kart number on the weight.

3. Must run full Jr. body 14" high maximum.

4. Must run full rear bumper.

5. Goodhope silver restrictor plate. 15 tooth drive sprocket only.

6. Drum-like type clutch required.

7. Non-money class. Trophy and series points class only.

8. Driver can advance out of this class within the season but driver can only participate in one class.

9. One year only class. Drive must advance at the beginning of the next season if he or she participated in 4 or more events during the previous race season.
