The Ironman Series consists of the best 3 or 4 series races. This allows the driver to drop his/her lowest scoring race. There is a normal pill draw with two sets of heats and starting placement into the first feature segment based on heat finishes. The first segment consists of 25 laps with the first ten laps counting even under caution. At the end of the first segment, all karts will stop on the front stretch for a controlled ten minute pit stop. (See pit stop info below) The winner of the first segment will flip a coin to determine if the starting order stays the same or inverts. The serior class inverts the first six places, the junior class inverts the top four places. The karts are all restarted on the front stretch for the second segment of 25 laps. Again, the first ten laps will count even under caution.

Senior Ironman
There will be a ten minute controlled pit stop between segments. Only the following items may be done during the pit stop. All drivers, and one pit crew member per driver must check in at the grid area and show the permitted items. Only these items are allowed to be brought onto the track. If any other changes are made to the kart, the driver will be disqualified.
If coin flip determines invert, top six places are invered
If any blue plate racers are 12 years or older and would like to run the Jr. Ironman series, they may put in a gold restrictor and add the necessary weight to make 300 pounds. They are permitted to run this series and still return to the blue plate class for the APS Point Series. However, 15 year-old drivers racing a senior class may not drop down to the Jr. Ironman Series.
